For Labcor Laboratórios, developing high-tech biologic prosthesis to save lives is not enough. The company is also acting within the social responsibility and transparence principles, seeking to a commitment with ethics and society life quality. The partnership celebrated with Associação Saúde Criança Renascer is an evidence of it. Associação Saúde Criança Renascer, founded in 1991, is a non-profit social organization and with no political or religious affiliation. Through its Family Action Plan (PAF), Renascer supports entire families of children assisted in the Lagoa Hospital, in Rio de Janeiro. They are released from the hospital, but they do not have basic structure to maintain the treatment at home. The main purpose of the partnership between Labcor Laboratories and this NGO is to restructure these children families through five fundamental groundings for living: Health, professionalizing, habitation, education and citizenship.
